At the Star Wars Celebration event, a teaser trailer for Disney Plus Star Wars series Ahsoka has been released, as well as posted online soon after. More casting details are also revealed.
Helming the series will be; Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.
This series is set after the fall of the empire, and Jedi Knight Ahsoko Tano will be investigating an emerging threat to the galaxy.
Ahsoka Tano made her first live action debut in The Mandalorian series; played by Rosario Dawson.
This teaser introduces more characters into live-action for the first time; Jedi Ezra Brigder is in hologram form, played by Eman Esfandi. Hera Syndulla will be played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Sabine will be played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo.
There’s currently only the back of an appearance shown for Thrawn, and he is also name dropped.

Thrawn is explained to be an heir to the Empire and they must defeat him before the Empire rises to full power, once again!

Lars Mikkelsen; who voiced the animated version of the character in Rebels, will also be reprising his role in live-action.
Two other villains are also shown; Baylan (Ray Stevenson) and Shin (Ivanna Sakhno). Baylon looks to be getting into an exciting lightsaber battle with Ahsoka during the teaser.
