There has been a new teaser trailer, synopsis and posters released for the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures movie Barbie – directed by Greta Gerwig.

‘Eccentric and individualistic, Barbie is exiled from Barbieland because of her imperfections. When her home world is in peril, Barbie returns with the knowledge that what makes her different also makes her stronger.’
Who is the cast of the upcoming Barbie?
Ken (Ryan Gosling) and Barbie (Margot Robbie) end up in the real world where they will eventually interact with humans and face challenges like they have never seen before. Check out these set photos of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling wearing cowboy/rodeo outfits.
In the teaser trailer, the two characters can also be seen in Barbie Land interacting with the various iterations of their characters.

Barbie movie features a large ensemble cast: Issa Rae as a President Barbie, Kate McKinnon is also a Barbie.
Michael Cera is playing Ken’s friend called Allan. Allan is a vintage doll first created in 1964 by Mattel.
Ana Cruz Kayne is a Supreme Court Justice version, Emma Mackey is playing a physicist iteration of Barbie, Hari Nef is a Doctor and Alexandra Shipp is an author. Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa are all playing Ken characters. Sharon Rooney is a lawyer, Nicola Coughlan is diplomat, Ritu Arya is a journalist Barbie and Dua Lipa is a mermaid version.
The real world

When they travel to the real world, these actors are playing the humans there.
Will Ferrell is a buisness man who is looking to hire Barbie and he can be briefly seen in the teaser from 0:57, alongside Connor Swindells, Jamie Demetriou, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt Helen Mirren as the narrator from the real world.
Barbie movie releases in cinemas on July 21.
