There has recently been new images that have surfaced online; offering a new look of Margot Robbie as the lead character Barbie.
What is this Barbie movie about?
According to Vogue and IMDB; Warner Bros. Barbie is a film that ‘will centre on a doll living in Barbieland, who’s forced to leave due to her so-called imperfections—setting off on an adventure in the real world and discovering along the way that perfection can only truly be found within.’
The characters are also based on the highly popular ‘Barbie and Ken’ dolls made by toy company Mattel.
Margot Robbie has recently been spotted near her trailer in Los Angeles, California. The actress was wearing a fashionable Barbie outfit; star-patterned pink trousers with flares to the legs and a pink buttoned-up top.

First look of Ryan Gosling as Ken
Warner Bros. also recently released the first look of Ryan Gosling as the live-action version of a bleached blonde hair and tanned Ken doll.
This movie is being directed by Greta Gerwig and has a star-studded cast: Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Michael Cera and Alexandra Shipp.
Collider reported that New York Times writer Kyle Buchanan, mentioned about some of the cast will feature as other versions of Barbie and Ken in this Barbieland. The actors mentioned were Issa Rae and Hari Nef as other Barbies, Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa also in the roles as other live-action Ken dolls.
Update June 22:
Ryan Gosling is wearing a rodeo/cowboy outfit while opposite Margot Robbie wearing the all-pink outfit in previous set photos.
Barbie is set to release in cinemas on July 21, 2023.
