Filming for series 14 of BBC’s Doctor Who continues; as the actors arrive on the streets of Cardiff, Wales, wearing new outfits.
There are new images revealed of Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as a new companion called Ruby Sunday; they both can be seen dressed up for the swinging 60’s time period.

This 1960’s episode is being directed by Ben Chessell, his previous work has been directing for shows such as Surviving Summer (2022) and The Great (2020).
Who is the villain for this episode?
The BBC recently revealed that there will be a villain played by Jinkx Monsoon.
This American actress has also began shooting scenes yesterday (April 19), in Cardiff. Monsoon’s villain name has yet to be revealed.
On set; bystanders have been managing to get glimpses about what is happening. Twitter user @set_dw has reported that there is also a piano, which may be dropping out of somewhere.
Could this episode actually be connected to the new musical-themed villain?
It seems more evident that it could be… considering that the villain wears a piano-key patterned costume.
Currently, apart from the time period, there are no plot details revealed about this 1960’s episode.

Ncuti Gatwa has posted more promotional photos for the episode; revealing extra looks at the pin stripe suit and Millie Gibson’s outfit, on his Instagram page.
There’s no release date yet for series 14, however it is expected to be releasing during the festive period, late-2023.
An upcoming three-episode special for the 60th anniversary, will be premiering on BBC for UK & Ireland, and on Disney+ in the U.S., this November 2023. The special is set to star David Tennant, Catherine Tate and Neil Patrick Harris.
