Amazon MGM Studios has revealed a new update about Spaceballs 2 and what the title will now be.
It has been nearly 40 years since the first film, which is a parody of the Star Wars movies, and there was a joke about a possible sequel in the movie; that it would be called “Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money”. However, it turns out that the title will now be called Spaceballs: The New One – directed by Josh Greenbaum.

Mel Brooks revealed the new title card in an announcement video.
The cast of Spaceballs: The New One also appeared at CinemaCon 2026.

Bill Pullman reprises his role as Lone Starr, alongside his son Lewis Pullman as Starburst, Daphne Zuniga returns as Queen Vespa, and Mel Brooks as Yogurt and President Skroob. Also joining the cast are Josh Gad, Keke Palmer and Anthony Corrigan.
