Silk: Spider Society is an upcoming Marvel-Sony Spider-Man spinoff television series.
This live-action series will be focusing on the Korean-American character Cindy Moon, who is bitten by the same radioactive Spider that Peter Parker had bite him.
Cindy ‘escapes imprisonment and searches for her missing family on her way to becoming the superhero known as Silk’.
Silk: Spider Society has been ordered by Amazon Studios, and it’s going to be released on Prime Video globally and MGM+ in the U.S. with Angela Kang (The Walking Dead), as the showrunner.
While looking through the Writers Guild of America West; Chatter Box Film can report that Julia Cooperman has been hired as a supervising producer, for the Silk: Spider Society series.
Julia will be working alongside Spider-Verse film producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are already producers on the series.

Cooperman’s recent work has been a producer on the Disney Plus series Willow, as well as being a co-executive producer for The CW Supernatural spin-off series: The Winchesters.
Julia Cooperman is currently being represented by Creative Artists Agency, LLC.
